Officers from the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained, at separate times, Turkish nationals U.I. (born 1998) and U.H. (born 1992), who were sought under Interpol Red Notices, Georgia Online reports.
U.I. was wanted by Turkish law enforcement on charges of premeditated murder, while U.H. was sought under an Interpol Red Notice on charges of violation of the inviolability of a residence.
Both individuals were detained in Adjara at different times following investigative measures carried out by law enforcement.
Extradition proceedings prescribed by law are currently underway against the detainees.
