Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of Independence Day, the Armenian government's press service announced.

The message reads:

"I wholeheartedly congratulate you and extend my sincere wishes on the occasion of the National Holiday — Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic.

Armenia highly values its friendly relations with Greece, which are founded on mutual trust, shared values, and the strong civilizational bonds between our peoples.

I am pleased to note that Armenian-Greek cooperation has been developing more actively and substantively of late. Constructive and trust-based dialogue, mutual high-level visits, and regular contacts have given new impetus to our relations, broadening the agenda for cooperation in the political, economic, defense, scientific-educational, and cultural spheres.

I am confident that through consistent joint efforts, we will continue to deepen our partnership both bilaterally and within multilateral platforms, as well as within the framework of the Armenia-European Union partnership, for the benefit of the prosperity of our countries and the strengthening of regional peace and stability.

I hope to have the honor of welcoming you to Yerevan at the European Political Community Summit. Your visit to Yerevan also represents an excellent opportunity to elevate cooperation between our two states to a new, strategic level.

I wish you every success, and the friendly people of Greece — peace, prosperity, and sustained progress."
