During the 7th Global Meeting of the Mountain Partnership in Andorra, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan met with German State Secretary at the Foreign Office Bernhard Kotsch.

As reported to Armenia News – NEWS.am by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed issues on the bilateral Armenia–Germany agenda, highly appreciating the current positive dynamics. In this context, the importance of boosting cooperation in the economic sphere and in the field of green energy, as well as implementing joint programs, was emphasized.

The parties also discussed regional security issues. Abisoghomonyan presented steps aimed at further institutionalizing the established peace. They also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.

The sides also exchanged views on preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which will be held in Armenia this year, and on possible cooperation.
