From the outset of this war, U.S. soldiers fled military bases in GCC to hide in hotels and offices, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on social media platform X.

“They are using citizens of Persian Gulf countries as human shields. Hotels in the U.S. deny bookings to officers who may endanger customers. Hotels in Persian Gulf countries should do the same,” he said.

Araghchi also published a letter from a Hilton hotel containing a booking refusal.
