U.S. President Donald Trump criticized French President Emmanuel Macron on Fox News, accusing him of a delayed response to the conflict with Iran.

According to Trump, Macron was slow to send military ships and only contacted him after the fighting had already begun.

“‘Donald, Donald, can I call you next week?’” Trump said, mocking the French leader’s reaction.

The U.S. president added that France’s offer of assistance came too late. “We already won. I don’t need you anymore. I could have used them before the victory — not after,” Trump said.
