Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, received Wizz Air's Chief Commercial Officer, Ian Malin, on March 27.
As Armenia News – NEWS.am was told by the ministry's press service, during the meeting, Khudatyan noted the successful cooperation with the airline, emphasizing that Wizz Air is a reliable partner for the Armenian government. He also expressed hope for further expansion of the flight network in the future.
Malin, for his part, announced the launch of two new routes — to Brussels and Eindhoven.
Khudatyan proposed launching new air routes to Kazakhstan and Georgia as well, and in the case of Georgia, suggested exploring the possibility of operating flights from Shirak Airport in Gyumri.
The parties also discussed a proposal to establish a pilot retraining center.
