Iran has announced plans for retaliatory strikes against six steel plants in Israel and five other countries in the region, Tasnim reported.
“Following today’s attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Mobarakeh and Khuzestan Steel plants, six steel facilities in Israel and five regional countries have been declared new targets for Iran’s retaliatory actions,” the report stated.
Informed sources emphasized that Iran’s response should by no means be limited to the region’s steel industry and called for broader and harsher countermeasures.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also urged citizens of regional countries to stay away from U.S. military sites in those areas.
