Ahead of the elections, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan authorized substantial bonus payments to 32 high-ranking government officials, News.5tv.am reported.
For instance, Artak Mangasaryan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, received about 4 million drams, while Davit Melikyan, Secretary General of the Unified Social Service, was awarded 2.43 million drams.
Approximately 4.5 million drams were paid to the secretaries general of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Environment, another 4.5 million to the Secretary General of the State Revenue Committee, and around 4 million to the secretaries general of the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs, Health, Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
Additionally, about 4.8 million drams were paid to the secretaries general of the Ministries of High-Tech Industry and Foreign Affairs.
Large bonuses were also granted to the secretaries general of regional administration offices, each receiving around 2.5 million drams.
