The United States and Israel have carried out strikes on industrial sites in the Iranian city of Arak, Tasnim reported.

It was noted that this is the third such attack on the city, as the U.S. and Israel had previously targeted it twice.

Since February 28, the U.S. and Israel have been conducting attacks on Iranian territory, resulting in widespread destruction and civilian casualties. In response, Iran has launched missile strikes against Israel and U.S. military bases in the region.

The Israeli and U.S. strikes also killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Seyyed Khamenei, along with several other senior officials of the country.

On March 2, the Hezbollah movement entered the conflict against Israel. In turn, Israel announced the start of an offensive operation against Hezbollah and moved its forces into southern Lebanon.

On March 23, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that negotiations with Iran would continue for a week and that military strikes had been postponed for five days. Iran, however, denied this claim, while Israel rejected Trump’s proposal.
