After the US and Israeli aggression, Iran's participation in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) no longer makes sense, according to Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian parliament.

"Given the current circumstances, Iran's membership in the NPT no longer makes sense, and this is apparently the prevailing view among the [Iranian] parliament's MPs. After these events, there are no reasons to accept such restrictions. We [i.e. Iran] do not seek to create an atomic bomb, but it is impossible to adhere to the rules of the game and be bombed at the same time. Ultimately, it is time to withdraw from the NPT," Boroujerdi said, SNN television reports.
