The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced the launch of the Armenian-language VT Hayastan News project on the basis of the Polish public television (TVP).

The initiative aims to combat disinformation and strengthen information resilience both in Armenia and among the Armenian diaspora.

The newly created media outlet will cover political, social, and economic developments from a European perspective. It will also contribute to the deepening of Armenia-European Union (EU) cooperation, with a special emphasis on Armenian-Polish cooperation.

One of the project’s priorities is the prevention of information manipulation and interference, as well as the neutralization of false theories that target Armenia and its international partners.

VT Hayastan News was created as part of the International Media Center of TVP and is funded by state funds provided by the Polish MFA.

This project is the next step in the expansion of multilingual news initiatives aimed at the EU Eastern Partnership countries.

The team of this project includes Armenian journalists.

The VT Hayastan News programs will be broadcast on weekdays on Belsat television, as well as be accessible on YouTube and Facebook.
