The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that at dawn on April 1, it launched several squadrons of attack drones toward the U.S. Navy strike group led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln.

The attack on the aircraft carrier and its accompanying ships involved “destructive” domestically produced drones, according to the IRGC statement.

The IRGC did not specify the results of the operation but reported that it forced the Americans to change the location of the aircraft carrier and other ships.
