Armenia is very close to the point when Russia will have to rebuild its economic relations with it, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said in an interview with TASS. Overchuk admitted that during bilateral meetings, as well as within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), “Armenian leaders talk about friendship with Russia and assure their loyalty to the EAEU.”

“The discussions are sincere and always respectful on our part,” the Russian deputy premier added. “At the same time, comparing words with actions, it can be concluded that our partners [in Armenia] are very close to the point when we will have to rebuild our economic relations with that country.”
