YEREVAN. - The Union of Yerevan State University students organized a procession to Yerablur Military Cemetery in Yerevan, with the slogan ‘don’t make a hero out of a murderer’.

The action was dedicated to the anniversary of the brutal murder of Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan, who was murdered while sleeping with axe by an Azeri serviceman Ramil Safarov.

According to the chairman of the organization Gevorg Melkonyan, the murder was a result of Azerbaijan’s militarism and racism policy.

He also pointed out, that as long as Azerbaijan continues its anti-Armenian hysteria and names Safarov a hero, it is pointless to talk about constructive relations with Baku.
