Several fires have broken out at an oil refinery near the Port of Mina Al-Ahmadi in Kuwait after an Iranian drone strike, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced.

"Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) told KUNA that the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery was targeted in a drone attack early this morning, resulting in fires in several operational units," Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported Friday, adding that emergency teams were working to contain the blazes.

The KPC added that there were no reports of casualties.
