Moscow doesn’t want the making of unnecessary references to Russia when discussing the Karabakh issue, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti report.

“The only thing that [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin wants and what Russia wants is that we [i.e. Russia] are not mentioned unnecessarily when discussing this issue,” Peskov said, regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

During talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on Wednesday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan had recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan following statements by the Russian top leadership.
