Peskov: Russia, Armenia leaders’ contact during their meeting was useful, necessary

The contact between the leaders of Russia and Armenia, Vladimir Putin and Nikol Pashinyan, during their meeting Wednesday at the Kremlin was useful, sincere and necessary, said Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, as reported by TASS.

“The contact [during the meeting] was sincere, useful, necessary. The parties presented their positions to each other, especially in the context of the upcoming [parliamentary] elections in Armenia, in the context of the main issues of trade and economic cooperation, which are on the agenda,” Peskov said.
