Four people were killed in an Israeli strike on the eastern Beirut suburb of Ain Saadeh.
According to the Lebanon 24 news portal, the missiles were fired from an Israeli naval ship and hit two apartments in the Tilal residential complex.
Two of the casualties have already been identified: they are Pierre Mouawad, an activist of the local Christian Lebanese Forces party, and his wife.
Two more dead bodies and several injured people were found in an apartment one floor above.
The apartment had recently been rented out to displaced people, who were believed to be members of the Hezbollah movement.
According to the aforementioned media outlet, a meeting of Hezbollah leaders was taking place in that very apartment.
Shortly before the attack, however, one of the participants managed to leave the building on a motorcycle.
