At least nine people were killed in a strike on Shahriar county in the western suburbs of Iran’s Tehran Province, the deputy governor of the county said.

"At least nine people, including a six-year-old child and three women, were killed in a missile strike and shelling in a residential area of Vain town in Shahriar county. Debris clearance and relief efforts are ongoing at the scene," the deputy governor stated, reports YJC news agency.

Also, 15 people were injured to varying degrees.
