Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, stated that Tehran firmly rejects any proposal for a temporary ceasefire, Press TV reports.
According to Iravani, any solution aimed at ending the conflict must ensure a final and irreversible cessation of aggression and the establishment of a just and lasting peace.
He added that such a resolution must be based on credible and verifiable guarantees preventing any resumption of hostilities.
