The Supreme National Security Council of Iran on Wednesday announced that the country has won a victory in the conflict with the US, forcing Washington to accept Tehran’s proposed settlement plan.

“The enemy has suffered an undeniable, historic and crushing defeat in its cowardly, illegal and criminal war against the Iranian nation. (...).Iran achieved a great victory and forced the criminal America to accept its 10-point plan,” the respective statement reads, in part, Tasnim News Agency reports.

According to the statement, the US has pledged to guarantee non-aggression against Iran, maintain Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, not to hinder the uranium enrichment process, and to lift all primary and secondary sanctions on Iran.

Iran's security council stressed that the Iranian armed forces have carried out strikes on US targets that “the historical memory of the world will never forget.”

It is also stated that Tehran has crushed American forces, Washington's infrastructure, and its military potential in the region.
