US President Donald Trump has slammed CNN for publishing, in his words, a false statement by Iran's Supreme National Security Council about the victory over the US.

"The alleged Statement put out by CNN World News is a FRAUD, as CNN well knows," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

According to him, the statement was linked to a “Fake News site (from Nigeria).”

Also, the US President demanded that CNN “immediately withdraw this Statement” and the results of the respective investigation will be announced “in the near future.”
