Brent crude oil futures for June delivery fell sharply on London's ICE stock exchange.
According to new trading data, Brent prices fell by 15% for the first time since March 11, falling below the psychologically important $92 per barrel.
By Wednesday morning, the decline had already reached 15.35%, and Brent crude was trading at $91.16 per barrel.
Another important benchmark, the American WTI oil, followed suit. Its May futures lost 16.33%, falling to $94.50 per barrel.
