Eight people have been killed in an Israeli strike on the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, Al Jazeera reports.
The target was a cafe, and the strike came hours before the ceasefire was announced.
Earlier, Israel announced that the temporary ceasefire agreement with Iran does not apply to Lebanon.
