Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan on Wednesday met with Martin Briens, the new Secretary General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Armenian Embassy in France informs.

The interlocutors exchanged views on Armenia-France multi-sector agenda matters. In the context of further deepening relations between the two countries, the importance of the upcoming high-level visits was emphasized.

Also, Ambassador Khachatryan touched upon the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and emphasized the importance of its further strengthening and promoting the agenda of interdependence.

The exchange of best practices in organizing the activities of the Armenian and French foreign ministries and the opportunities for training diplomats was highlighted, too.

In addition, the Armenian diplomat briefed his interlocutor on the major international events to be hosted in Armenia in the near future, in particular the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, the inaugural Armenia-EU Summit, and the Yerevan Dialogue international forum.
