Past daily of Armenia writes as follows: On various occasions, Russia has insinuated more than once about what consequences could leaving the EAEU or severing trade, economic, and political relations with Russia have for Armenia. And this is not a threat, as the propagandists of the CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party and its parliamentary faction] or pro-government groups like to interpret or try to present.

It is at most a warning, a simple statement of facts, in essence, a clear recording of the formed trade, economic, trade-political, geopolitical realities. After [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan's last meeting in Moscow [on April 1], Russia has already noted much more clearly and unambiguously, without diplomatically complex wording, what the specific consequences will be. Moreover, consequences that will be tangibly felt by every citizen of the Republic of Armenia.

Here: The price of [Russian] natural gas may increase by 2-4 times [in Armenia] (do you want the EU? Pay at EU rates), air traffic may be suspended or significantly limited (this will already be the EU's demand), problems will arise with the sale of Armenian goods in the Russian market (they have already begun), especially for agricultural produce, agricultural products. We are not [even] talking about the problems related to [Armenian] migrant labor in Russia yet. (...). In this case, the question of what Pashinyan is doing seems more primary.

Specifically, in the sphere of Armenian-Russian relations, Nikol Pashinyan has entered a very dangerous "game" that is inevitably leading the country to economic and, also, social collapse. It is scary to only imagine what a specific increase in [Russian natural] gas prices will lead to [in Armenia].

Everything will become more expensive in a chain reaction, starting with electricity and ending with the prices of all kinds of goods. Its consequences will be directly felt by all businessmen, all citizens, everyone without exception, in general, the entire [Armenian] state. It is no less cruel to imagine what state the agricultural produce oriented towards the Russian market, as well as flower producers and exporters, thousands of our compatriots engaged in these areas will find themselves in.
