We are not doing anything behind Russia's back and despite it. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a press briefing after the Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday, in response to the question whether the issue of transferring Armenia's railway network to a new concession management would be discussed during the current visit of the Kazakh foreign minister to Armenia.

"Kazakhstan has not hidden its interest in TRIPP [i.e. the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project] since August. Kazakhstan is one of the major players in the international transport sector, and our partners are trying to understand what transport opportunities may open up for them. Kazakhstan is not the only country that is interested; many countries are interested. Naturally, we will invite, including Kazakhstan, to be ready to use transit routes passing through Armenia in order to consider them in the chain of their exports, imports, and the transport services they provide," the Armenian premier added.
