Armenia has long been ready for all possible scenarios. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a press briefing after the Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday—and referring to the Armenian exporters’ problems in Russia.

The problem is that economic entities exporting flowers and brandy from Armenia to Russia are facing problems now. According to the Armenian PM, each case should be considered in the most detailed way, and the Armenian authorities should discuss the specific circumstances.

“Since 2018, I have spoken publicly and non-publicly dozens of times about the need to standardize production in the country. And we have allocated millions of dollars to the economy so that they can standardize their products. We [i.e. the Armenian authorities] will continue to assist business owners in the problems that exist, which relate to the modernization of the economy. But we do not agree with any attempt to present technical issues in a different way under the political umbrella," the Armenian premier noted.
