The Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes as follows: According to information received by the Zhoghovurd daily, motions are being prepared in the Investigative Committee [of Armenia] to question eyewitnesses to the incident in the Saint Anna Church [in Yerevan], with the participation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. (...).

About 5 dozen citizens on the above-mentioned day in the church will be summoned for questioning, and especially those who voluntarily declared that they be questioned.

Let us recall that during the Palm Sunday liturgy in the Saint Anna Church, the prime minister had entered the church with an entourage, attracted the attention of those present, which caused dissatisfaction among those present. Davit Minasyan, looking at Nikol Pashinyan, had said "don't look like that" and tried to hit [him].

About an hour later, police officers forcibly detained brothers Davit and Mikayel Minasyan, as well as the founder of the Armenian National Front, politician Gevorg Gevorgyan, from the church yard.

18-year-old Davit Minasyan was detained for 2 months by the decision of Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan.

The other brother, Mikayel, was released. The preliminary investigation into the case continues.

Yesterday it became known that as a result of medical examinations, closed craniocerebral trauma, concussion was confirmed regarding 18-year-old Davit Minasyan.
