Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have accused Iran and its allies of carrying out new strikes on their territories despite the temporary ceasefire.

Kuwait's foreign ministry said drone strikes on Thursday evening targeted some vital Kuwaiti facilities, while Saudi Arabia's state news agency, citing an unnamed source, said the attacks also damaged several fuel and energy facilities of the kingdom.

But the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has strongly denied any involvement in these strikes.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces did not fire any missiles at any country during the ceasefire, the IRGC said in a statement, Press TV reports.

The IRGC added that these strikes could be a provocation by the US or Israel.
