Oil prices are rising moderately on Friday morning, and the situation in the Middle East continues to be in the spotlight of the market.
Brent crude oil futures for June delivery rose $0.74 (0.77%) to $96.66 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London. On Thursday, they had risen $1.17 (1.2%) to $95.92 per barrel.
WTI crude oil futures for May delivery rose $0.45 (0.46%) to $98.32 per barrel in online trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). In previous trading, they had risen by $3.46 (3.7%), reaching $97.87 per barrel.
