Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin of Russia and Ambassador Gurgen Arsenyan of Armenia discussed the progress in the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of negotiations between the leaders of the two countries, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.

An exchange of views took place on pressing issues of bilateral relations amid the recent talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Moscow.

The importance of active joint work to implement the agreements reached at the highest level was emphasized, including in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as on cooperation within the framework of joint integration associations.

Also, the parties discussed regional issues in terms of developing economic cooperation and establishing transport links in the South Caucasus, as well as continuing the activities of the 3+3 regional cooperation platform.
