Iran is ready to hold talks with the United States, but within legal norms. President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated this during a telephone conversation with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

Iran remains committed to the principle of resolving disputes through diplomacy. According to Pezeshkian, Tehran is ready to return to the negotiating table if they are conducted within legal norms and do not violate Iran's national dignity and authority, the Iranian president’s Telegram channel reports.
