The United States will no longer participate in the supply and purchase of arms for Ukraine, US Vice President JD Vance announced Tuesday during a forum at Georgia State University.

“We [i.e. the US] have told Europe that if you want to buy weapons, you can, but the United States is not buying weapons and sending them to Ukraine anymore,” Vance said.

He added that the US is “out of that business,” describing the decision as “a very good thing.”
