Armenia’s prospects have become more predictable thanks to the peace process with Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly, as he presented the 2025 report on the progress and results of the implementation of the 2021-2026 program of the Armenian government.
"Today, our country's prospects are more certain than ever. And this is, first of all, thanks to the peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which was established on August 8, 2025 in Washington, with the support of [US] President Donald Trump," the Armenian PM noted.
According to Pashinyan, important events await Armenia in the near future, including in the development of regional communications and peacekeeping processes.
"Great and historic events await us in the near future. In particular, the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity [(TRIPP)] project, which will finally remove Armenia from the almost 30-year blockade. And, of course, the signing and ratification of the agreement on peace and interstate relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which will ensure the further process of eliminating hostility between our [two] countries and peoples,” Nikol Pashinyan concluded.
