Iran has been under a near-total internet blackout for more than 47 days, according to the international monitoring service NetBlocks.

NetBlocks notes that this blackout has lasted for about 48 days—more than 1,128 hours, making it the longest and most extensive internet blackout in the history of monitoring.

Such severe restrictions on communications in Iran were imposed amid an escalating regional conflict, and they continue to this day.
