Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Monday received Kevin Hamilton, the NATO Secretary General's new Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

First, the minister congratulated Hamilton on assuming the aforesaid position and wished him success, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the defense ministry of Armenia.

During the meeting, the current course and development prospects of Armenia-NATO cooperation were discussed.

The parties also touched upon regional and international security issues.
