The employees of the Genocide Museum-Institute, in a combative mood, waited to express their dissatisfaction to his face regarding the scandalous resignation of [director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute] Edita Gzoyan and the appointment of a new director [Hrachya Tashchyan], but the meeting did not take place—Pashinyan did not enter the museum.

Tashchyan has already reduced the funding of various programs, prohibits participation in international events, saying that it is not the time for that. But before Pashinyan's visit, he personally monitored the cleanliness of the area and the emptying of garbage cans. The day of the visit was also the opening of the exhibition "Identity, Memory and Survival: Armenian Children during the Genocide" in the Jansem Gallery of the institute, which also did not attract Pashinyan's attention.
