Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate, the PM’s office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The premier welcomed the aforesaid delegation’s visit to Armenia and highly appreciated the consistent support of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate to Armenia. Pashinyan attached importance to the development of relations between the two countries, emphasizing that important events are expected in this regard in the near future. At the same time, the head of state emphasized that France’s support to Armenia at all levels is highly appreciated.
In turn, Devinaz noted that high-level relations have been established between the parliaments of France and Armenia. According to the Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate, in contrast to the tension of previous years, today there is calm in Armenia, which is aimed at peace. In this regard, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz emphasized the role of Armenian PM Pashinyan and the measures toward establishing and strengthening peace.
Next, the interlocutors discussed the development of cooperation between Armenia and France in various domains, especially in energy, agriculture, and education.
Regional processes were also touched upon.
