In addition, sources note that despite the heavy losses suffered by the Iranian naval forces, about 60 percent of the potential of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran remained intact. This also applies to the high-speed motor boats used during operations in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to official sources, the Iranian air force was also spared complete destruction. About two-thirds of its aircraft are still ready to perform combat missions.

This reality contradicts the claims of US President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth that Iran's military capacity has suffered much more substantial and widespread losses.
