Let's never forget and deny our past, let's defend our national dignity together. Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan on Friday wrote this on Facebook, on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

He noted as follows: "Dear compatriots,

Today, on April 24, we commemorate the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. Time is powerless to dull the pain that the descendants of the victims of the Genocide still experience until historical justice is restored. This is not just a day of remembrance. This is the day of our conscience, our historical recollection, our national identity.

But we should not only mourn. We must live, fight for the restoration of justice, develop and strengthen our homeland, so that the entire civilized world can be convinced that the will of the Armenian people is unbreakable. The memory of our martyrs obliges us to be strong, to be united, to never forget and never surrender.

Let us never forget and deny our past, let us together defend our national dignity. Let us together build the Armenia that our ancestors dreamed of.
