On April 24, a memorial ceremony dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place at the Armenian cross-stone (khachkar) located in the courtyard of St. Hedwig's Cathedral in Berlin. The event was organized by the Embassy of Armenia in Germany.

The Armenian Ambassador Viktor Yengibaryan, the Vice President of the German Bundestag Bodo Ramelow, the embassy staff, as well as members of the Armenian community, paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
