The economic activity index growth rate in Armenia was 6.6 percent in March 2026 compared to the same month of the previous year, and 11.6 percent compared to the previous month, the government's press service reports.
During the observed period, the sectors of Armenia’s economy grew as follows compared to the previous year: construction—24 percent, services—7.8 percent, industry—7 percent, and trade—0.2 percent.
But the country's foreign trade decreased by 6.8 percent, exports decreased by 12.6 percent, and imports—by 3.2 percent in March 2026 compared to the same month of the previous year.
And inflation in Armenia’s consumer market amounted to 4.5 percent in the observed period compared to the previous year.
