YEREVAN. – The Solidarity Party (SP), led by Sargis Avetisyan, will support the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) in the country’s parliamentary elections to be held on May 6. This was declared during SP’s fourth congress held on Saturday. 

And in its respective statement adopted at the congress, SP called upon everyone to vote for PAP in the upcoming elections, since “by electing Prosperous Armenia, they will secure the existence of a stable Armenia and a secure Artsakh [Karabakh], [and] will contribute to the building of a prosperous country.”    

National Assembly Deputy Speaker and PAP member Samvel Balasanyan also was on hand at the Solidarity Party’s congress, and he thanked for the high appraisal of, and trust toward, PAP.
