YEREVAN. – The relations between Armenia and US are diverse and multifaceted, and they include all domains of the human activity, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan stated prior to the concert, entitled “The world of Harmony from A[rmenia] to A[merica],” which was held on February 25 and devoted to 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

“We underscore the US’ role in securing peace in the region and settling the Nagorno-Karabakh issue within the framework of the [OSCE] Minsk Group. We are full of determination to deepen and expand our friendly ties, because we are confident that these ties will contribute to the prosperity of our peoples,” Tigran Sargsyan said.

“Assessing the bilateral relations, the US Ambassador gave a very impressive formulation: the Armenian-American relations are on the rise, and, as per the Ambassador, they were never at such high level as they are during the tenures of Presidents Obama and Sargsyan,” Armenia’s PM noted.

The aforesaid concert was organized by the joint efforts of the Luys (Light) Foundation, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the US Embassy in Armenia.
