YEREVAN. – Armenia’s ruling Republican Party (RPA) was left alone in the question concerning 100 per cent proportional system by the whole political field including coalition members. Armenian opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) released a statement on this regard.

The statement reads that the 100 percent proportional system issue reached its final conclusion by a discussion in Armenia’s parliament. The main political forces took advantage of their numeral superiority and voted against the bill.

By this move ruling RPA showed that it cannot have dialogues with the political forces and the public all together.

“ANC calls upon all political forces, the whole nation to unite in order to get rid of RPA’s criminal regime on these upcoming parliamentary elections,” the statement reads.
