YEREVAN. – Campaign for parliamentary elections on May 6 is launched, off-parliament opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) coordinator Levon Zurabyan said on Thursday during the ANC rally.

Armenia’s authorities committed a crime four years ago towards own people, he added.

According to Zurabyan, the authorities have never run for the elections in such a poor condition on the background of political and economic crisis in the state during the whole history of independent Armenia.

“Armenia currently has an organized opposition, enjoying the trust of people. The ANC may organize resistance of people, secure to some extent the justice in the elections. I declare campaign for the parliamentary elections to be launched,” Zurabyan concluded.
