YEREVAN. – Off-parliament opposition Armenian National Congress’ (ANC) rally continued by marching in Yerevan downtown from the Liberty Square to the Myasnikyan’s statue, where 10 people were killed in demonstration on March 1, 2008.

The ANC started the march after the opposition leader, Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan ended his speech by declaring the next meeting is scheduled for March 30.

To note, the ANC launched the rally at about 6.10 p.m. at the Liberty Square on Thursday, which marked the fourth anniversary of March tragic events in Yerevan downtown.

The ANC leader Ter-Petrosyan, head of the Armenian People’s Party Stepan Demirchyan, head of the Republic party political council Aram Sargsyan participated in the rally. The rally was run by the ANC activist, Haykakan Zhamanak Editor-in-Chief Nikol Pashinyan.
