Better when state of emergency is ruled by law - ruling coalition

YEREVAN. – It is much better when the state of emergency is ruled by a law, head of ruling coalition member Orinats Yerkir group Heghine Bisharyan briefed in the Parliament on Friday.

“Such law exists in many states, which is realized in case of emergency,” she said adding if the opposition considers it anti-constitutional, it can appeal the decision in the Constitutional Court.

To note, Armenian opposition criticized the bill, which allows using the Armed Forces under the state of emergency, claiming the Constitution prohibits interference of the Armed Forces into political processes.
