The Court of Trabzon, Turkey, passed a verdict against former chief of Trabzon gendarmerie Ali Oz and another 7 officers convicted for inaction in relation to Agos Chief Editor Hrant Dink’s murder case.

The court stated that Oz and the other officers were aware of prepared murder at least six months prior to it, however, they took no preventive measures, Turkish Sabah reports. Hence, the court sentenced Oz to six-month imprisonment, while the rest to four months, two officers were released.
